What Buddy does and does not do
Is Buddy the same as ChatGPT?
No. Buddy can use an AI model, but it is configured around your processes, documents, rules, access rights and automations.
Is Buddy a separate application?
Buddy is the assistant interface within the KocaExpress automation system. Depending on the implementation it works via web, chat and connected business software.
Can Buddy perform actions on its own?
Only within limits agreed in advance. Sensitive or important actions require human approval by default.
What can Buddy remember?
Approved preferences, working agreements, instructions and relevant context. The exact categories are determined during implementation.
Can I see what Buddy has remembered?
Yes. The goal is that stored memory remains visible, correctable, exportable and erasable.
Can Buddy read my email?
Only when email access is explicitly configured and permitted. Access is kept as limited as possible.
Can Buddy send messages on my behalf?
That can be configured technically, but final external communication may require approval first, depending on the rules.
Can Buddy schedule appointments?
Yes, when a suitable calendar is connected and the right availability and approval rules are set.
Can Buddy handle customer service?
Buddy can classify questions, prepare replies, handle standard questions and route exceptions to colleagues.
Can Buddy make mistakes?
Yes. AI systems can misinterpret information or generate incorrect output. That is why we use scoping, source references, validation and human approval.
Is my data used for training?
That depends on the chosen suppliers and contract settings. Where possible we use business services in which training usage can be restricted or disabled.
Can Buddy run entirely locally?
Some components can be set up locally or in a private environment. This depends on the required models, capacity, integrations and the desired service level.
What happens when a connected service fails?
The workflow must detect the error, pause or retry the action and raise a notification. Critical errors must not be silently ignored.
Is Buddy suitable for every company?
No. Buddy works best when processes are clear enough and there is a person responsible for rules, exceptions and approvals.
Can I start small first?
Yes. A pilot with one bounded process is often the best start.
What does Buddy cost?
